• When will I have to pay for my Furniture?
• To satisfy your bank that you are the authorised cardholder,
  we need to take your card details in advance and to take a small nominal payment of £1, which we then immeditely refund. Having done this we will not need you to repeat this authentication, so long as your total order value does not change significantly and you intend to pay the balance with the same card.
  
  Since 1st August this year, UK banks require customers to
  confirm their identity when ordering goods over the Internet, using a system similar to Chip and PIN. For more information please check with your bank or use the following links for
  Visa or Mastercard/Maestro
  
  Please note, we will never ask you for your secret PIN number.
  
  You may opt out of "3D Secure" at the moment and we will still accept your order, but opting out increases the chance of your card being declined for large Internet purchases.
  
  Your credit or debit card needs to be authorised at the time of despatch for the full value of your order, which will place a "Reserve" on your account but we will not take the payment until our driver has removed all packaging and placed the furniture in your home. (In instances when we use a courier company to make delivery, these terms do differ; please check our terms and conditions for full details).
